Say hello to the
Emdr trained
now what?
A guide to the first 20 EMDR sessions with new and existing clients. This is perfect for newly trained emdr clinicians who feel lost on where to begin
Let’s get real for a second, friend
SOUND FAMILIAR?
You finished a 5 or 6 day Basic EMDR Training. You left the training either feeling really good and confident or the opposite, you left feeling overwhelmed and fearful.
During your training the trainer and coaches were confident, and reassured you that this would be great and your clients would respond favorably.
But when you sit with your clients it doesn’t flow like it did during training. They are having a hard time staying focused and grounded.
You aren’t sure if they are resourced/prepared enough, too much or not at all. You aren’t sure if you know how to target sequence plan or heck what about disassociation. Can I even do this with those clients?
WELL, YOU SEE—I FELT THE SAME WAY.
Which is why I created this easy to read e-book about what to expect for the first 20 EMDR sessions. This guide is short and talks directly to what sessions can look like for your clients who are both able to pendulate and those who need more support to pendulate. This 32 page guide includes some of my favorite and most used Phase 2 skills and ways to target sequence plan.
I'm not going to fluff you. I am going to give you information that can help you make different decisions when you are in session with your clients.
Ways to confidently start EMDR sessions with your clients
How to use Phase 2 with your clients who are both easily regulated or not.
Steps for using Neural Mapping for target sequence planning.
Tips for clients who need more support to regulate

DID YOU KNOW…
You aren't alone. Most clinicians leave training with this question…
Where do I begin?
Five years ago I began coaching Basic EMDR trainings. During the past 5 years I have consulted and coached a few hundred clinicians who are right where you are. They all fee the same pressure, fear and excitement about learning and using EMDR.
Over the course of two months I coached and consulted over 100 clinicians and they all had the same few questions. Those questions lead me to creating this short to-the-point guide to the first 20 EMDR sessions.
